Marian Powers, the visionary founder of Powers Educational Services, built this organization on the unwavering belief that every child has the power to learn. Her founding philosophy centers on the fact that each student is unique and therefore requires an individualized program geared toward their specific needs, learning style, and success. Through our signature one-to-one tutoring, students are taught to use their inherent strengths to overcome challenges, unlocking their true academic potential.
Today, her son, Mark Powers, carries this tradition forward. While staying true to the core commitment of personalized care that his mother established, Mark has brought the center into the modern era, integrating updated methodologies to meet the evolving needs of today’s students. Under his leadership, we remain dedicated to creating programs designed to strengthen your student’s weaknesses and foster independence. Our ultimate goal remains the same: to help your student become a confident, independent learner in as few sessions as possible.
